Lambchop Designs™, LLC was formed to fulfill a passion for funky fun little cartoon animals and such. Once Lambchop Designs™ was born, its founder, Adrianne Bugg, couldn’t stop the flow of ideas. And, they keep coming! Therefore, we cannot help offering you new designs on a regular basis.
The spirit of Lambchop Designs™ is to inspire whimsy through its own uniqueness. No children’s room, play area, or family room should be without an original Lambchop Designs™ artwork. The goal of Lambchop Designs™ is to give you a new choice in gifts for children, babies, and even yourself once in a while!
Lambchop Designs™ is committed to making a better environment for everyone, especially children. So, why not always use non-toxic acrylic paint? And why not use recyclable/recycled materials whenever we can? We can’t think of a reason not to so that’s what we do. We also coat each work in a glossy, protective finish to ensure it lasts for a very long, long time.
All Lambchop Designs™ products are hand painted by Adrianne Bugg. There are absolutely no exceptions!
MY STORY
The story of Lambchop Designs:
1979 Birth of Lambchop Designs’™ creator, Adrianne Bugg
1983 Early stage development of a love of drawing….on anything….anywhere. Much to my mother’s chagrin, they haven’t invented Crayola® washable markers yet.
1986 Am 6….Already dreaming of being a cheerleader and fashion designer. Yes, cheerleader.
1989 Win distinguished nylon duffel bag for crushing the competition in an art contest in 5th grade. Commence using duffel bag for all art supplies and later in life, sweet CD’s (cutting edge) like M.C. Hammer & Richard Marx.
1990 Bad hair & tie dye continues despite entry into the ‘90s. Continue on mad painting and drawing path. Hopefully hair and style in general will improve. Just can’t let go of those “hole-in-the-knee” ripped and faded jeans.
1992 Win award for artwork. Artwork goes on cover of yearly school publication.
1993 Win another award for artwork. Artwork goes on another cover of yearly school publication.
1994 High School……..don’t need to say much more except have become “elite fashion designer” even though my own line doesn’t exist and no one has ever heard of me.
1997 College at Tulane……break from everything to navigate French Quarter….OK, Bourbon Street.
1999 Broke college kid. Begin painting pictures and creating all sorts of décor for smashingly grand apartment.
2000 Attempt to sell designs in boutiques in New Orleans. Against natural character, takes “no” for an answer. Spends rest of 2000 angry at boutiques and refusing to shop there.
2001 Meet Tripp Bugg. Great name, great guy!
2004 Marry Tripp Bugg and move to Richmond. Start making lampshades and revisit painting. Regain confidence and attempt to sell lampshades in Richmond. Get them in a store!!! A few weeks later, get a “real” job and put artwork on hold.
2007 Redefine “real” job to include doing something you love, not something you do just for money.
2008 Look at 10 month old son’s chunky legs and think, “Lambchop Designs”! Decide to paint a few canvases as gifts for friends. A month later, am fully producing “fun art for cool kids” for sale. First order placed within a week of start! Incorporate Lambchop Designs, LLC and start the art empire at last—this time, refusing to take “no” for an answer!
