We LOVE our dog, Alice. She is the sweetest Golden Retriever around! She is truly our first child. Just look at that face (and Davis’, of course!):
And, as it turns out, we have friends that are in love with their dogs, too. They love them so much, in fact, that I was commissioned to paint their portraits. Have you ever seen them? Here they are:

On a completely different note, I have discovered a great recipe (and easy…KEY!) for a fruit smoothie. I am really trying to snack healthy. Here is a great “go-to”:
1/2 cup low-fat, organic, plain yogurt
1/2 cup 2% organic milk
handful of blueberries (fresh or frozen)
handful of raspberries (fresh or frozen)
one banana
1 cup of oatmeal
1 tbs honey
handful of ice
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until desired thickness. Done and DONE! (And, delicious!)
