Doggie Love, a Fish, and a Really Good Smoothie

We LOVE our dog, Alice. She is the sweetest Golden Retriever around! She is truly our first child. Just look at that face (and Davis’, of course!):

And, as it turns out, we have friends that are in love with their dogs, too. They love them so much, in fact, that I was commissioned to paint their portraits. Have you ever seen them? Here they are:

This is Lucy, the Boxer.

And, last but not least, my latest doggie love, Sally, the Beagle:

Has Alice had her portrait done yet? Sadly, no. I’ll have to get to work on that!!

On a completely different note, I have discovered a great recipe (and easy…KEY!) for a fruit smoothie. I am really trying to snack healthy. Here is a great “go-to”:

1/2 cup low-fat, organic, plain yogurt

1/2 cup 2% organic milk

handful of blueberries (fresh or frozen)

handful of raspberries (fresh or frozen)

one banana

1 cup of oatmeal

1 tbs honey

handful of ice

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until desired thickness. Done and DONE! (And, delicious!)

Upcoming Shows and NEW PRODUCT!

First of all, I cannot believe it has been a month since this new site was launched and I published my first post!! I have to THANK YOU for helping make this happen! Lambchop Designs has seen over 1000% (yes, that says ONE THOUSAND PERCENT) increase in site traffic. And, business has increased more than I ever imagined! I am so complemented!! I am excited to continue delivering fun designs and interesting content for you going forward.

Speaking of the near future, today I am preparing for the Irvington Farmer’s Market. I am really excited! This market is not like just any other farmers market. It is loaded with lots of super talented people. The artwork and hand-made goods are top notch. I am honored to be a part of it, truly! Here is my booth from last month’s market:

The market is in Irvington Commons and runs from 9am to 1pm, rain or shine. Come see us!!

In addition, I am really excited to tell you that I have a NEW product coming out. YAY!! I’m not going to tell you what it is just yet, however. I’ll give you a hint…it’s not a painting design. As I am writing this post, I am waiting on delivery confirmation for this afternoon. I’m hoping to have it available tomorrow at the market. I’ll update this post later today to let you know. In the meantime, you’ll just have to guess a bit!!
