I am a bargain hunter. I love it! (Well, to a degree.) If it’s easy to find, I especially love it. I’m not the type to go digging through bins at a random warehouse to find just THE thing for two cents. Maybe I should be. You can really FIND FINDS if you do! Anyway, if you are like me and like “convenient” bargains, read on.
First of all, I am hosting a very convenient bargain on all my paintings this month. Yep! 25% off of everything. What? Let me say it again: 25% OFF EVERYTHING! If you didn’t hear about this, visit my first blog post here or you should sign up for my email updates here. Those peeps get a lot of juicy bargain info that others don’t! Anyway, you need to go to the Shop pages and buy yourself or your friend a painting or two. You can only use the discount on one order so choose carefully and order more than one to make it count. Enter “LOVENEWSITE” at checkout!
Secondly, it can be tough to choose artwork for a friend or even a close family member. Therefore, Lambchop Designs has decided to offer Gift Certificates! You can buy them in any denomination. For now, email me and I’ll send you a physical certificate to send your bestie. Let me know if you have questions!
Speaking of bargains…I have an friend who is an expert at bargain hunting. Check out this gorgeous headboard she found on Craigslist:
Check out her post here: The Gimlet Eye
I am only beginning to scratch the surface of Craigslist but I have become a believer after Jessie found this headboard. Imagine it painted a shiny, lacquer white! Depending on whether we have a girl or a boy, we’ll pipe it in yellow, kelly green, or navy. I cannot wait!!
More from Craiglist…I am considering these purchases for an end table to put in between the twin beds.
Have some vision with this…It will be painted, of course (and the glass top removed)! And, we could put some nifty new drawer pulls on it. By the way, this wooden piece is $35. $35. YES. I said $35!!
Or this:
Again, have vision with a beautiful paint color. This one is a bit smaller and may work better with the space.
Here is the room, by the way, that will be the nursery (aw, bless its heart):
We have a long way to go, non? I will, no doubt, have A LOT more conversation with you about its potential!
Ok more tomorrow and don’t forget to subscribe to these lovely musings HERE! Also, tell me about your most recent FAB bargain!

Thanks for visiting my site for children's artwork. This is the story of a girl who thought she had to be "mainstream" corporate only to figure out that life is much happier for her painting animals on canvas. Look through the entire site: the blog features my daily craziness as I keep up with my own business, help my hubs with his law practice and chase after our two-year-old and Golden Retriever. The Gallery features my most recent works. The Shop is the best; it's where you can buy a little piece of it for yourself! I love painting. I love designing. I love writing. I bring it all together here at Lambchop Designs!
