Hi Everyone!

There have been LOTS of changes going on at Lambchop Designs. The biggest change is my new website and blog! As you can see, you will be able to take a look at all of my paintings more easily, purchase them more easily, and get great decorating tips all at the same time. The blog will be dedicated to discussing awesome ideas for kids rooms as well as what’s going on with Lambchop. Also, you will get to hear a little about my personal life and attempt to “keep it all together” as I chase after my two-year old, run my own business, help my hubby with his law practice and run around with our dog Alice. WHEW!

CHANGE = INSPIRATION

Speaking of changes, last summer, we picked up our bags and moved to the country. We moved to a little resort town off the Chesapeake Bay called Irvington. Haven’t heard of it or visited? You should. One reason of many: The Tides Inn (below).

I know.  Our boat (that is in NO way worthy of docking here) is in the shop RIGHT NOW with the hopes it will be up and running again in less than a month. We will be cruising to the Tides Inn for their famous Cosmopolitans in no time (yes, please)! (Ok, well, for me a giant MOCKtail. That’s right…Baby Bugg #2 is on the way! This new baby will, no doubt, lead to lots of conversation on the blog.)

We also get to take advantage of numerous farmer’s markets (read: fresh veggies and awesome, unique art, etc), knowing “that guy” who has the best crabs, and have the occasional bunny and bald eagle running around our back yard.

Why am I telling you this? Well, I want you to get to know me and Lambchop Designs on a PERSONAL level. And, my surroundings have certainly become my inspiration (our son, Davis, being primary influence!).

WHAT’S NEXT

Lambchop Designs is in a very exciting stage. We have sort of come out of our adolescence and are emerging into a more SOPHISTICATED and FUN mode. We know who we are, what we do, and how we do it. This is all better for you! This also means new product ideas like infant and toddler t-shirts (yes, Davis will have one in each size) and, hopefully, stationery!

My goal is to not only provide you with great artwork for your baby’s and kid’s rooms, but also give you inspiration to complete the entire room in a fashionable, fun, and affordable way. I am a big fan of DIY and clever tricks. I also can’t shake a stick at a good bargain. I promise, you won’t be disappointed if you subscribe to my musings!
